The Company
Our client has in excess of $150 million under management across 30 assets, 40,000m² and approximately 50 tenants. They distinguish themselves by their reputation for significant strategic success delivered time and time again by integrating best practice Investment Management with a niche focus on commercial property.
The Role
The successful candidate will be willing to be hands on, looking after all aspects of Property Management, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a professional portfolio
- Ensure all records are kept up to date on an annual basis
- Review and approve rent reviews, including fixed, CPI and market reviews
- Conduct lease renewals/ transfers of leases as directed by management
- Tenant invoicing and collection of monies from tenants and updating of accounting system
- Credit control system including handling of disputes, notifications and resolutions
- Review and approve creditor invoices for entering and payment runs
- Provide direction and instruction to outsources contractors and suppliers
- Ensure buildings remain compliant annually
- Projections and budgets
The Person
We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who has the following skills and experience:
- Experience in commercial property management, minimum of 2 years
- Agents Representative Certificate (REIV)
- Strong competencies in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge and understanding of CMS system
- Understanding of Commercial lease clauses, including retail leases Act
- A strong ability to follow compliance, protocol and procedures
- A high level of customer service and excellent rapport building skills
- An ability to work in a small team environment or independently
