Our client is a thriving privately owned Property Developer who specialise in commercial, industrial, hotel, mixed-use, retail, subdivision and residential Developments primarily throughout Melbourne but also with developments in other cities, via joint ventures and their own projects. 
  
Due to continued growth within their business they are looking to bolster their team with the addition of an Assistant Development Manager. Joining an established senior team, you will report into the Development Manager, working on multiple projects at a time, managing the entire timeline of projects from front end through to delivery.  Initially, you will be working on the delivery of a mixed-use commercial/industrial project in the North/West so this role would also suit a Project Manager wanting to move into Development.

You will be joining a team with a close-knit social culture, and there are ample opportunities to progress your career, with all current Development Managers having been promoted internally.

Do you have the following?

• Previous experience as an Assistant Development Manager or Assistant Project Manager - we will consider applicants from client-side project management, consultancies or developers
• Some Commercial/Industrial project experience essential
• Degree qualification in Property, Construction or similar Business degree
• 2-3 years post graduate experience in the industry
• Experience in running feasibilities using Estate Master or excel highly regarded
• A strong team player and manager of project teams and external resources
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Career-oriented and well networked individual with exceptional understanding of property development
