The Company

Our client has in excess of $150 million under management across 30 assets, 40,000m² and approximately 50 tenants. They distinguish themselves by their reputation for significant strategic success delivered time and time again by integrating best practice Investment Management with a niche focus on commercial property.

The Role

The successful candidate will be willing to be hands on, looking after all aspects of Property Management, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a professional portfolio
  • Ensure all records are kept up to date on an annual basis
  • Review and approve rent reviews, including fixed, CPI and market reviews
  • Conduct lease renewals/ transfers of leases as directed by management
  • Tenant invoicing and collection of monies from tenants and updating of accounting system
  • Credit control system including handling of disputes, notifications and resolutions
  • Review and approve creditor invoices for entering and payment runs
  • Provide direction and instruction to outsources contractors and suppliers
  • Ensure buildings remain compliant annually
  • Projections and budgets

The Person

We are seeking an enthusiastic professional who has the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in commercial property management, minimum of 2 years
  • Agents Representative Certificate (REIV)
  • Strong competencies in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge and understanding of CMS system
  • Understanding of Commercial lease clauses, including retail leases Act
  • A strong ability to follow compliance, protocol and procedures
  • A high level of customer service and excellent rapport building skills
  • An ability to work in a small team environment or independently
