Facilities Officer is required to effectively manage the day to day running of the property and site portfolios for a NFP organisation.

We are partnered with a National Christian Not-for-profit organisation who focus on improving the needs of others within the community and support education and health programmes across Australia.

Description

As the Facilities Officer, you are responsible for the effective day to day running of the property and site portfolios across Queensland. The key focus is to proactively identify the maintenance, service and repair needs to ensure each site is operationally sound.

You will also coordinate the effective operations of the office and oversee the Administration team.

  • Ensure maintenance of properties, sites and buildings
  • Compliance with building codes
  • Liaising with stakeholders, suppliers and contractors
  • Report budget and findings to the Leadership group for review
  • Produce staff rosters and submit timesheets for processing
  • Maintenance of key register and site security
  • Comply with workplace WHS instructions, policies and procedures
  • Ensure work is carried out in a safe and timely manner

This full-time permanent role works Monday to Friday 8:30am- 4:30pm, and role is available for an immediate start for the successful candidate.

Profile

  • Proven experience in facilities management or building/ construction operations
  • Ability to liaise effectively with staff, volunteers, Councillors and senior persons
  • Knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and completing deadline
  • Sound budget management, contract administration and procurement
  • Current Driver’s License
