What this opportunity involves:

JLL is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Retail Manager that will assist in overseeing and implementing all facets of the retail management, marketing and leasing for three of JLL’s premium assists! This role will be covering a broad spectrum of food court tenants, specialty stores, bars, restaurants, nightclub and conference facility!

As a key point of contact on site, you’ll be responsible for all day to day tenancy matters, assisting with the overall performance of the Retail precinct, and overseeing and managing the assets Marketing Plans, incorporating retail and venue marketing. You’ll also work closely with the separate site Operations Teams to ensure that operational requirements of all retail areas!

Snapshot of the role:

• Autonomously managing a portfolio of four assets
• Assist with Implementing further promotional activity for retailers
• To assist with co-ordinating the completion of leasing, both lease and licence contracts between the tenant, solicitor and the Client for all retail within the three noted Assets
• Assist the Centre Retail Manager with preparation of budgets, forecasts, Business Plan within deadlines
• With support from an external marketing agency, assist the Retail Centre Manager with preparation of marketing plans and procure associated services and technical advice
• maintain weekly contact with all tenants and respond to tenant matters in a timely manner

You’ll have demonstrated previous retail management experience, as well as relevant tertiary degree, and possess the ability to work independently setting own tasks. Your proven financial capabilities as well as strong communication skills, the ability to deal confidently with Clients, Tenants, and the broader community are critical to this role! Above all, you’ll be looked upon to provide consistent high levels of service to various internal and external stakeholders.

Your ability to build relationships will be key to this role, and a positive, proactive and punctual approach to work and meeting clients. Your ability to understand Retail Leases, and maintain accurate data within Tenancy schedules and budgets, as well as being a team player with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, will prove success in this role!
