A snapshot of the role:
- Producing, implementing & supporting procurement strategies that ensure value for money
- Coordinate client procurement activities to ensure the arrangement of timely, cost effective provision of all goods and services through effective and ethical sourcing activities
- Proactively conducting market analysis/ benchmarking using qualitative and quantitative skills, tracking market trends and emerging technologies and developing metrics to manage supplier performance
- Providing advice on Government procurement principles, policies, legislation to internal and external stakeholders
- Attending regular meetings, reporting, communication and consultation with clients
This opportunity will commence as a fixed term 9 month contract.

You, will hold proven skills in a similar role, applying industry analysis, supplier analysis, negotiation and contract management with Government industry experience being of advantage (not essential). Superior communication skills both written and verbal with strong organisational skills and attention to detail will be critical to your success. Knowledge of Commonwealth and State Government Procurement Rules is beneficial as is the capacity to deal with a diverse range of service providers and client representatives.
You must be an Australian Citizen in order to comply with our clients requirement.
