ICC Sydney is a $1.5 billion development that has transformed the Darling Harbour precinct. The project delivered 35,000sqm of internal exhibition space, the largest commercial kitchen in the southern hemisphere, Australia’s largest ballroom, an open air event deck, and an 8000 seat entertainment theatre.
We are currently looking for an Asset & Trades Supports Officer to join our Building Services Department on a fulltime basis. This role will be required to perform comprehensive pre & post inspections across our event spaces, as well as being responsible for recovering any maintenance costs.
Responsibilities;
- Follow up key stakeholders to ensure damage costs are recovered in a timely manner
- Establish a comprehensive knowledge of the Convention, Exhibition and Theatre spaces
- Provide a monthly report on building inspections and damages/ recoveries
- Organise, prioritise and schedule actions for the high volume of email traffic and service requests received by the Asset & Trade Services Manager
- Identify improvements and preventative measures to reduce property damage to ICC Sydney
The successful candidate will ideally have current working knowledge of the hospitality, convention and exhibition industry. With a strong understanding of building furniture, fittings and equipment and prior experience in stakeholder relationship development.
