Australian property developer seeks a well-rehearsed and innovative Development Manager to aid in delivery of a master planned community in Sydney's West.

Our client is an innovative, forward thinking Australian property developer, with extensive experience in a range of property developments spanning across Australia. They have successfully delivered many commercial, residential, retail and industrial projects earning themselves a reputable name in the property development space.
Description
This role will be responsible for delivering a unique master-planned community in Sydney’s West. Reporting directly to the Development Director, you will be exposed to the entire development life cycle again and again, in a staged effort in bringing to life this highly anticipated community.
The duties and responsibilities shall generally include overseeing the following:
- Construction and Site Management
- Design Management and Project Planning/Scheduling
- Cost and Budget Management
- Conflict and Risk Management
- Safety Management
- Determination of Project Objectives and Plans
- Bid Management relating to proposed site acquisitions
- Optimisation of use of design, construction and consultants firms' skills and talents
- Enhancing project design and construction quality
Profile
You will have a strong understanding of a developments design and delivery stages, with a trak record in dealing with local government for Greenfield projects. You will come from a Development or Project Management background as well as:
- Experience managing contractors and external consultancies
- Relevant degree / tertiary qualification or construction background to match
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholders of all levels
- 6 + years in the development space
