The role:

This role will see you report into a very hands on Department Head and will require you to work Monday - Friday with one in 4 Saturday’s for the interim. residential portfolio of 140 properties is located around the East and Inner City. This is a role that will see you grow into a senior member of the team, mentoring a junior staff member. You will be responsible for:

  • Liaison with Landlords and tenants
  • Manage repairs and maintenance issues along with any cosmetic works
  • Chase arrears
  • Oversee lease preparation and sign off of applications
  • In/outgoing and routine inspections
  • Manage lease renewals and rental reviews
  • Attend team meetings and coaching sessions
  • Prepare for and attend tribunal
  • Saturday work every 3rd week for the first 6 months

Experience required:

  • 3 years Property management experience managing your own portfolio
  • Solid knowledge of the act (this will be tested)
  • A clean drivers licence and reliable car
  • A current certificate of registration or real estate licence
  • Experience mentoring a junior staff member
  • A positive can do attitude and willingness to deliver 5 start customer service
  • Knowledge of REST, Filesmart and Inspection Manger experience desirable
