Company:
Our client has a fantastic newly created opportunity for a Corporate Affairs Manager to join their team of friendly professionals.  You will be joining one of Australia’s largest Property Development companies with projects across Australia and on an international basis. They cover a vast span of projects from Commercial through to Residential and Resorts.
 
Located in the heart of the Sydney CBD in stunning offices you will be responsible for the management of Corporate Affairs, Marketing Communications and Stakeholder Engagement on behalf of the organisation.  You will also be required to implement the communications strategy across the business ensuring consistency in brand and strategy.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Development and implementation of the Corporate Marcomms strategy across the organisation
  • Oversee the management of the marketing, communications and design staff to achieve company objectives
  • Create sound and strategic media relationships acting as a Liaison Manager on behalf of the company
  • External communications management
  • Preparation of speeches and editorials for the Executive Team
  • Management of the development of all corporate marketing collateral and online content across the organisation
  • Key internal and external relationship management
  • Maintain an ongoing and sound understanding of the government processes with regards to property development
  • Ensure consistency in message by working closely with Town Planning, Approvals and Development teams
  • Relationship management with local contacts to assist in project approvals
Skills and experience:
  • Degree qualification in a related field of PR, Comms or Journalism
  • Minimum of 5 years’ local experience in a similar role within the Property Development sector
  • Proven track record in leading and developing teams
  • High degree of people management experience
  • MS Office – Advanced skills across the entire suite
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of personal presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities
  • Results driven
  • Ethical, high level of integrity
