Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team for a 12 month contract, based in Brisbane.
Within this role you will be reporting into the Regional Project Manager and managing all of the operations and delivery of their retail projects. You will also be responsible for taking care of the cost efficient outcomes with the goal of achieving the financial objectives and eliminating the commercial risk.
The Role:
- Project feasibility studies and budget costing
- Procurement of project teams, including design consultants, certifiers, and other consultants required to provide a full detailed design package for tender and construction purposes
- Development of project procurement methodologies and project delivery plans
- Project cost estimation and cost management
- Tender management
- Contract administration
- Ensure that revenue and profitability is achieved in relation to set budget
- Manage, review and report on the risk during the project
- Provide regular, accurate and comprehensive reports as required
- Manage the design process, make improvements and prepare action lists as required
- Be conversant and act within relevant law and statutory requirements relating to the position
- A minimum of 5 years in the property industry
- At least 3 years within a Project Management role
- Degree level qualification in a Project Management related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in delivering retail property projects
- Understanding in securing all project consents and approvals
- Good client relationship management experience
- Good negotiation skills
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
