Our client is a privately owned Australian Developer with a multi-billion dollar pipeline consisting of multiple large scale, complex projects in Retail, high-rise Office and mixed-use commercial. Due to an extensive pipeline of projects in Melbourne they are looking for an experienced Development Manager to join their team.

Reporting into the Development Director you will take the lead on at least one significant high profile Commercial development in Melbourne, coming in at the front end to prepare detailed complex feasibilities, development applications and obtaining permits with the view to working across the full life cycle of the development through to delivery.

Ideally you will be a mid-level Development Manager with at least 5 years experience in Development Management, with extensive local experience in Melbourne or Sydney across landmark Developments including office and ideally retail and mixed-use.

You will have experience across the full life cycle of development and exposure to complex projects and complex feasibilities will be highly regarded, as will experience in dealing with various councils to obtain approvals. In terms of fit, you will be comfortable in an autonomous role with accountability and prefer a flat management structure where you will have direct access with the senior executive team.
