What this job involves

Working as National Operations Manager, you will lead a team of facilities professionals working across a portfolio of sub-regional and regional shopping centres across Australia. Your key focus is to provide superior leadership, client relationship management, an overarching management and control of all portfolio Operational activity, with a strong focus on Financial Management, Stakeholder management, and engagement.

As a member of the Leadership team, you will be a highly organized operator and a strong communicator. You will influence and encourage a culture of innovation amongst the team and instill a customer service approach and continually look for new ways of doing things to add value for our client.

You’ll oversee the delivery of the Operating and Capital Expenditure budgets as well as compliance, risk management, and sustainability. You will also implement portfolio-wide operational initiatives to improve operational efficiencies.

You will be an experienced senior Facilities /Operations professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills for team and stakeholder management. Business writing and financial acumen is essential with the ability to roll with a busy and varied workload where you can juggle conflicting priorities and ambiguity

You will ideally be degree qualified in mechanical or engineering with a high level of technical experience in the engineering, operations, and facilities management sector/sand you have gained your experience within the retail sector.

You have challenged yourself to succeed and are now looking to move into a role which will test your skills at a senior level where your knowledge is not just operational, but you have a keen eye to look towards the future and focus on shaping the delivery of Centre Operations
