OUR CLIENT
With a team of professionals that have been servicing the Strata Industry for close to 20-years, Our client provides a service with expertise unmatched by other strata companies. They have experience and expertise in managing all types of Strata Title and Community Title Schemes as well as umbrella type schemes such as Building Management Committees.
As well as this, they have expertise in defects management and consultancy, dealing with matters involving NCAT, by-law breaches and enforcement, cost saving platforms, unique services not provided by other strata companies and new development establishment and consultancy.
THE CANDIDATE NEEDED
Our client is seeking a candidate that has experience with trust accounts and has the attributes of a leader. This candidate would manage a team of professionals to oversee our client's extensive portfolio. The candidate would be part of a successful local business that continues to grow, offering more opportunities in the future.
THE ROLE
Location: Miranda
Days / Hours: Monday to Friday / 8.30am to 5.00pm (1 hour lunch break)
Employment Status: Full-Time
In this role, your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Accounts and Finances
You will manage & invest funds, issue levy notices, attend to any banking issues, download cash management reports, lead & participate in strata management training programs and reduce & maintain client attrition rate. - Levy Arrears Management & Insurance Claims Processing
You'll be responsible for the management of levy arrears & issuing of notices to applicable owners. Additionally you are required to lodge insurance claims promptly. - GST & BAS Lodgement
You will be coordinating with the accountant/bookkeeper by producing reports for the completion of BAS lodgements. - Business Development
Your leadership qualities in this management role will get you to liaise with developers and assist in new business opportunities so the business can grow. - General Requirements
You'll need to attend all relevant meetings, operate our client's database, track all disbursements or charges relating to strata plans, manage the compliancy of the portfolio, deliver quality customer service and ensure you are current with all business activities & updates.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a professional that can confidently say they'd be a perfect fit for a Trust Accounts Manager role. Is that you?
If so, you will have a NSW certificate of registration or licence. You will have knowledge of Word, Excel & Gmail. You'll have the people skills to deliver excellent communications to your clients and team, which will also require you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will like solving problems as you have a keen eye for detail and organisation. You would have an understanding of accounting and the strata industry with current or working knowledge of it's legislations. Additionally you'd be able to complete your duties in a timely manner and respond to changes effectively.
Experience with Trust Accounts is a MUST.
