Fantastic University opportunity for an experienced Facilities Coordinator/Helpdesk operator. Great rates CBD

Extremely Progressive educational establishment require a driven facilities professional to join their busy in house team. An experienced facilities helpdesk operator you will report to the senior FM and play a key role in the provision of property maintenance administration services over this unique portfolio.

Working as a part of a small, dynamic team, you will provide assistance to internal customers and technicians over the phone. In addition, you will be required to deal with all associated relevant administrative duties.

Your tasks will include:

  • Taking calls from clients, ascertain needs and log issues
  • Process service requests
  • Distributing work to building supervisors using BEIMS
  • Managing and maintaining reporting of maintenance requests
  • Raising purchase orders, data entry and invoicing


You will have:

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in a Facilities/Call Centre role
  • Experience within professional services
  • Initiative to get the job done
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Confidence and resilience
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, word, outlook and excel)
  • Ideally some basic accounts experience
  • Attention to detail


To succeed in this role you will demonstrate proven communication skills, success working within a corporate environment, a hands on approach and commitment to OH&S.

This role will be an agency contract for short term cover up to 4 months. It is a fantastic workplace, very close to transport and presents a rare opportunity for exposure to the tertiary education sector. An immediate start is available and good hourly rates circa $40-45/hr + Super are offered.
