Ingenia Communities is a leading Australian property group that owns, operates and develops a growing portfolio of lifestyle communities and tourist parks across key urban and coastal markets. We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to support the growth of our Holiday portfolio.

 

About the Role:

Initially reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the master planning and development of new and expanding holiday communities.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development of current and proposed holiday expansion projects
  • Oversee land refurbishment of holiday accommodation and facilities
  • Ensure specific KPIs and budget requirements are met
  • Manage the tender and construction process including management of external consultants
  • Work alongside sales and marketing teams for each project
  • Reporting on development, project status, forecasted completion cost v budget and more
  • Build feasibility models and report on feasibilities and cash flow

 

About You:

  • Solid experience in a similar role with the ability to create and model masterplanned communities
  • Development experience within Tourism or relevant industry including construction costs and contracts
  • Understanding of civil works, infrastructure and services
  • Proven experience leading and driving projects and teams
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Proactive with a positive attitude, patient and flexible in your work approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well organised and able to prioritise effectively
