The team

The Financial Assist Specialist team is part of the Financial Assistance Solutions (FAS) family of the Bank.  The team primarily assist retail banking customers in the management of their financial commitments by working towards a mutually agreeable payment arrangement and tailored solution. The focus is on delivering excellent and courteous customer service to ensure the good financial health of our business & customers.

Starting as an inbound Customer Representative, you will follow up with CBA customers who are in arrears of payments to their Home Loans & Line of Credits.  The focus is on working with our customers to not only inform them of the situation, but to work towards mutually beneficial financial solutions that will minimise losses to the Bank, and help customers secure their Homes.

    Key Responsibilities

    The team is responsible for taking inbound calls, in order to provide financial solutions for our customers, to help secure their financial well being. This includes organising your day to take calls from our customers, negotiating arrangement to collect arrears payments, identifying/escalating complex situations to other areas of the business and offering long term financial solutions to ensure our customers can retain their homes.

    The purpose of this role is for you to rehabilitate our customers, to help secure and enhance the wellbeing of people, businesses and communities.  

     

    The Role

    The FAS Team operates Monday-Saturday, between 8am and 9pm. We have various set-rosters  available, with start times ranging between 8am, 12:30pm & 1pm. We are looking to bring on another cohort to join our FAS team for a September intake.

Roster 1: 1pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday  

Roster 2: 12.30pm to 9pm, Tuesday to Friday and 9am to 2pm, on Saturday 

Roster 3: 1pm to 9pm, Monday & Tuesday and 8am to 4:30pm, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.  

Roster 4: 8am to 4pm, Monday, Tuesday & Friday and 1pm to 9pm, Wednesday & Thursday
