A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Strata Receptionist/Assistant to join our Newcastle based Team. The position is full-time (Mon - Fri 8.30am to 5.00pm).

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organisation. You will welcome clients and coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. 

Ultimately, the Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes clients positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.

You will be supported by a dedicated team of strata managers, strata assistants & administration staff. There is the opportunity for the right candidate to progress from the administration team and become a Strata Assistant directly supporting one of our Strata Managers. 

To be successful in this position you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Current Certificate of Registration (Strata Management) or willingness to obtain within 2 months of commencement of role;
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in customer service;
  • Reliable car & current NSW drivers licence;
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret relevant Acts & be proactive in solving problems/offering solutions;
  • Outstanding customer service skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills & demonstrated ability to use these skills for negotiation;
  • Well developed time management skills & accuracy/attention to detail.
