The Role
The main focus of this role will be to drive the delivery of the national capital works program across the office portfolio. There will be 5 direct reports based in each state reporting into this role and each are tasked with the delivery of CAPEX. The role will also be required to drive consistency and direction to the facilities management service provider.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the scoping, coordination, planning, outsourcing, delivery, reporting and governance of the national capital works program across the Office portfolio.
• Identify and deliver scalable platforms, systems and processes to assist in the consistent delivery of the capital works program across the Office portfolio.
• Regularly liaise with the Regional Portfolio Managers regarding the delivery of the capital works program in their region.
• Manage the national facilities management contract including relationship management, fee management, staffing structures, tendering and contract approval for major services and setting of/assessment against KPIs.
• Manage the procurement, tendering and uninterrupted supply of national goods and services including (but not limited to) facilities management, electricity / gas, national lift contract, data capture for legislative and analytical reporting, electricity metering and WHS audits;

  
Your Profile

• Commercial property project management experience is essential for this position along with a solid technical background (qualification advantageous)
• Experience in the delivery of a significant value of national capital works program
• Experience with the overseeing and management of a national facilities management contract
