HOBAN is seeking to engage the knowledge and experience of a Senior Town Planner for State Government based in the Brisbane CBD. Commencing ASAP, this is a temporary on-going assignment (based at an A06 level).
The Senior Town Planner will assist to provide an innovative range of planning and major capital work solutions across a large healthcare sector. You will act as the key point of contact for driving program outcomes and providing strategic direction.
Reporting to Senior Management, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a broad range of property functions including: acquisition/disposal, leasing and utility/land tenure agreements
- Formulating high quality technical advice and recommendations
- Negotiating with internal and external clients, agencies and service providers
- Undertaking corporate real estate functions and project activities
- Maintaining corporate real estate management information and reporting systems
- Monitoring trends, developments and exceptions in relation to property
- Assisting with the preparation of high level briefings, submissions, correspondence pertaining to property matters
As an experienced Senior Town Planner, you will have the following knowledge, skills and qualifications:
- Demonstrated research and analytical skills to form sound advice and recommendations
- Developing and sustaining productive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders
- Undertaking stakeholder engagement through negotiations and strong communication
- Previous experience within corporate real estate (large scale or multiple geographical locations highly desirable)
- Qualification within project management or related industry (high desirable)
- Qualification within town planning (highly desirable)
