Our client has one of the biggest Residential & Commercial portfolios in the country and as they are continue to grow they are seeking a Property Accountant to join their finance division.

This company is a fast growing company expanding to full property services (Retail Management, Property Management (both Residential apartments & apartment sales), and Residential & Commercial Leasing, serviced apartments, short stays & Air BNB.

This company has over 50building throughout Australia and are about to move overseas. With over 20,000 managements and breaking into the student accommodation market this is a role not to be missed.
  
Job description:
  • Process daily receipts and payments, reconciling each bank account.
  • Process Trust End of Month for all states.
  • Prepare summary sheet of fees payable to company for prior month.
  • Prepare trial balance reconciliation for all trusts.
  • Review commercial arrears, send notices as required.
  • Transfer funds to companies operating account.
  • Prepare and send monthly commercial leasing invoices.
  • Send prepaid check to on-site staff
  • Process letting fees for all trusts.
  
Additional duties that may be required:
  • Prepare and finalise quarterly/year-end OC financial accounts.
  • Process daily receipts and payments, reconciling each bank account.
  • Liaise with the OC Managers in relation to the levies.
  • Prepare and finalise invoices for APM contract fees for following month.
  • Assist with AP/AR process of an owner’s corporation.
  • Action ad-hoc emails and phone calls as required.
  • Attend to lot owners and representative’s accounts enquiries.
  • Recommend and implement process and technological improvements.
For this role:
  • Experience in Residential and/or Commercial Trust Accounting
  • Experience in Finance/Book keeping (Property related)
  • Experience in Owner’s Corporation Finance (ideally)
  • MUST have experience in REST software (Real Estate program)
  • Amazing attention to detail
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Proven record of team leadership and team building
