The Julia Farr Housing Association (JFHA) is an innovative social landlord specialising in the design and construction of accessible, affordable homes for people living with disability. We are a social profit (NFP), non-government community housing organisation.

We are looking for a quality candidate to work as part of a team to coordinate a growing property management portfolio of quality accessible community-based dwellings.

To be successful you will have a deeply felt value base about social justice and the rights of people living with disability, especially in respect of choices and inclusion. We value self-starters who are driven to achieve genuine measurable outcomes in the property management field. For this role we are looking for an experienced, intelligent person who can coordinate day to day property and tenancy management issues. Ideally you will come from an environment where you have coordinated tenancy and property maintenance issues in the real estate or community housing sector.

You will work as part of a team to maintain and modify existing housing . This will see you working with tradespeople and project managers to ensure individual  tenant needs are met.

Excited about matching prospective tenants to the right house to achieve a great outcome, you will be a great communicator, organised and interested in understanding individuals' needs.

This role is for a person who can build effective relationships with a wide range of people and navigate sensitive issues in a manner which achieves a positive outcome. You don’t need necessarily to have had experience working within the disability sector but you have to be committed to social inclusion, awesome property management and learning.

The role will be appointed based on merit and people living with disability are encouraged to apply.
