A well-known Melbourne Property Developer is looking to add a Senior Development Manager to the team. 

Working as an integral part of the front-end delivery team you will be primarily supporting the Development Director on this $500M project.

This role will suit a Senior Development Manage or a high performing Development Manager that is looking to work for a dynamic private organisation.

Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate completion of "landing" large-scale tenants for new build and new format development sites ideally within the commercial office, retail or industrial space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feasibility, financial & general reporting
• Forecasting, planning and building application management
• Creating the full design briefing for marketing and project proposals  
• Monitor and manage financial performance, reporting, budgeting and  risk assessment 
• Managing and administering contracts working closely with the in-house delivery team
• Putting property deals together to ensure both the overarching board of directors and the tenants' commercial goals are met

 
Key skills and attributes: 

• Recent Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Property
• This role is all about attitude and your ability to think outside the square and be part of a dynamic busy team
• 7 years’ experience in property in a development role
• Commercial real estate experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets hand provide timely and reliable management reports 
• Excellent time management, planning, and organisational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• A good problem solver with the ability to think quickly on their feet
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail 
• Analytical approach and a desire to exceed expectations with a proactive approach
