Your new company
Client is a state owned commercial business. They have interesting, varied property holdings across the country and work on some particularly interesting, complex and flagship projects. As result of increasing demands for staff they are looking to engage a high quality commercial property professional on a contract basis.
Your new role
The role is an interesting, challenging and really varied role. Is involved with supporting a senior member of staff on number of projects related to a renewal precinct. in terms of some of the tasks, role can be involved with engaging external agents to look after some commercial leases and secure tenancies. Working with those tenants to secure sensible terms and engage legal team to prepare relevant contract documentation. Working with town planning consultants to alter development applications to meet new and changing needs, working with developers to translate master plans into current need requirements and a huge variety of other tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
As can hopefully infer from the above, the place is a quite an agile location and the member of staff would need to be comfortable working on a wide number of areas at any one time with competing and changing priorities that need to be constantly managed. In terms of background suspect the base skills or experience required would either be in commercial property management or leasing or perhaps even as a property specialist in the legal industry.
What you'll get in return
Client offering a really interesting, challenging and unusual position on a genuine flagship project that ought to look great on a resume. They are offering an initial contract till end of the calendar year, but it is anticipated will be an extension from there. In terms of hourly rates, would suggest 55-60ph, but there is also some flexibility for candidates that bring something extra to the role.
