The Client

 
A true industry leader, our client is a recognised Development Advisory group that are well known for full life-cycle development. With an enviable list of clients they have delivered iconic residential and apartment projects across Victoria. Due to continuous growth they are now looking to add to the development team to enable them to service the growing demand from their client base.

The Role

As the Development Manager you will be responsible for the life cycle of developments from site acquisition through to construction and settlement. You will manage all facets of property development including site acquisition, feasibility, design development, planning approvals, sales and marketing, appointment and management of consultants and be the key driver ensuring builders deliver on time, cost and quality. This role will see you exposed to a diverse range of stakeholders and you will be responsible for high level client engagement, including preparation and presentation of detailed board reports.

About You

To be considered for this exciting position as a minimum you will possess the following:

• Tertiary qualifications in in a property related discipline such as Property Economics, Commerce or Construction Management
• Development management experience in Australia
• Minimum of two years’ experience within Commercial, Retail or Residential Construction delivery
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong team focus and excellent stakeholder management
• Full cycle Residential development would be highly desirable
