What this job involves

As a Senior Sustainability Analyst, you will provide detailed analysis, reports and associated recommendations to help our government clients reduce their environmental footprint. Some of your responsibilities include:

• Monitor and report on sustainability and environmental performance including providing recommendations for energy, water and waste saving initiatives.
• Take primary responsibility for the accurate and timely provision of energy, waste and water consumption data for your allocated client entities.
• Undertake data analysis to identify trends, opportunities for savings, cost recovery and improvement.
• Provide annual sustainability reporting data as outlined in government policies, such as the Energy Efficiency in Government Operations (EEGO) policy.
• Drive the continual improvement of our service delivery through improved business processes, analysis and reporting tools and reports.

You will have recognised tertiary qualifications in a sustainability related field and experience working in the property sector. You will have experience related to implementing initiatives such as renewables and LED lighting.

Critical to the success of this role will be your intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel as well as experience in data management, analysis and reporting. You will be confident in engaging with stakeholders to understand and meet their reporting requirements and will have a flexible, service oriented personality, with a strong desire to achieve goals.

A passion for sustainability and environmental improvement and some exposure to building energy efficiency and/or utilities background is desirable. First-hand experience using JLL’s systems such as our Energy and Sustainability Platform is highly desirable. Familiarity with federal government green leasing and the requirements of the EEGO policy are also highly desirable.
