Our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services business line works with some of the world's leading organisations to provide them onsite Facility Management solutions.
We manage concierge through to cleaning services, as well as reactive & preventative maintenance, engineering & safety. We also look at their leasing & property requirements. IFM can also analyse and offer solutions on how to decrease their environmental footprint.
What this job involves
We're looking for a technically savvy Facilities Manager to manage the day to day operations and maintenance activities at a Laboratory site in St Leonards. Some of your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Control and manage designated site operating budget
- Preparation and execution of switching program of all site critical mechanical & electrical plant: generators, UPS, Air-conditioning, Fire and Hydraulic Systems
- Regularly inspect site works and reject any works that are not performed in a safe and tradesman like manner.
- Ensure that contractors are carrying out maintenance and repair tasks correctly and safely
- Participation in internal and external audit of the facilities, service documentation, JLL’s Ops-Aide and CEM audit, asset assessment audit.

You’ll have experience working in management of operational facilities with hard FM skills knowledge and is preferred you are trade certified or licensed in a relevant field (mechanical / BMS experience
You’ll have proven understanding of building compliance, essential services, BCA, WH&S and environmental obligations within a facility management setting. Experience in a laboratory environment, repair, maintenance and project works or the management of critical Data Centres is highly desirable.
Both written and spoken communication skills are vital and If you have all the above, we’ll expect you also to have great time management and organizational skills and be good at meeting deadlines in a fast-paced work environment. You’ll need to be pro-active, motivated and very client focused.
