Colliers International are seeking are an experienced, client focussed Assistant Property Manager | Retail to join our team.
Based at Hillary's Boat Harbour, the main focus of the role is to provide support to the Property Manager in delivering professional property management services to clients, tenants and other parties.
Working closely with tenants to build and maintain long term and valued relationships, the key responsibilities for this role include:
- Logging, actioning and completing tenant work requests
- Ensure the timely approval of invoices for payments
- Assisting the Property Manager with the preparation of the monthly management and financial reports
- Regular liaising with contractors and tenants to report on work requests
- Ensuring all lease documentation is in place and up to date
- Actioning rent reviews when required
- Assist the Property Managers with annual budgets and business plans
- Arranging tenant meetings
- Uploading documents to document management system
Essential skills and qualities we are seeking in candidates are:
- Experience or background in the retail property industry
- Strong Interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Sound knowledge and experience in property management administration
- Knowledge of the Retail Tenancy Act
- Proven ability to liaise with internal and external customers in a professional manner
- Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports and proposals
- Must be self-motivated and mature minded
