- Rated Partner recently transferred to this firm and is looking to expand his team.
- Build a career in Employment and Workplace Relations law under the mentorship of leading Partners
- Access to a range of large client base across multiple sectors such as agribusiness, non-for-profit and government agencies
- Assist clients on a wide range of general employment, workplace health and safety and industrial relations issues
- Interpreting modern awards and enterprise agreements
- Defend prosecution for breach of the workplace and employment legislations
- Conduct a range of workplace investigations arising from allegations of inappropriate workplace conduct such as sexual harassment, discrimination and bullying
- Advice on enterprise bargaining processes, including scope orders, good faith bargaining issues, better off overall analysis, notice of employee representational rights
- Provides strategic advice on methods of engaging staff, restructures and transfer of business issues and restraints of trade
- Advise on regulatory compliance including the personal obligations of duty holders to defending prosecutions.
- This is a developmental role for someone with great academics and commitment to engage with the workplace relations sector. As such limited exposure to the above will be acceptable but a desire to learn is critical
Criteria
- 0-3 post admission experience
- Strong academics – LLB specific
