About the role
Your experience and knowledge of Residential Mortgage Settlements and Settlement Verification will allow you to take ownership, and run your own residential property files from start to finish.
Your duties will involve:
- Checking executed mortgage documentation,
- On line searches,
- Dealing with key stakeholders such as Mortgage Brokers, Borrowers' Solicitors and major Australian banks,
- Certifying files,
- Booking in and organising settlements including via PEXA,
- Drawing cheque requisitions and receipts,
- Attending to stamping and lodgement of documents, and
- General file management duties.
This is a 6-12 month initial contract, with the possibility of extension.
About you
This role requires a professional, confident and highly organized person to take ownership of mortgage files.
To be successful in this fast paced role, you will possess the following:
- You will be an outstanding communicator with a positive disposition and a flexible attitude to work tasks,
- Possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines,
- Intermediate MS office skills,
- An acute eye for detail, and
- At least 2 years end to end Mortgage Settlements or Conveyancing experience within a fast-paced, high volume environment, working within strict Service Level Agreements (desirable).
