Nyman Gibson Miralis (NGM) is a premier criminal law firm based in Sydney and Parramatta that has conducted some of the most complex criminal litigation in Australia, with a growing focus on international criminal law. We are recognised for providing the highest level of legal representation to those involved in the criminal justice process.
We are currently seeking to employ an experienced bookkeeper in a part-time capacity working 5 hours per day, 5 days per week. Legal bookkeeping experience with Affinity would be highly desirable.
This position promises to be varied in a relaxed and friendly environment assisting a finance focused Practice Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll/PAYG/Payroll Tax and Superannuation
- Preparing and lodging quarterly BAS Statements
- Trust Accounting and Compliance
- Bank Reconciliation and End of Month
- Billing
- General Ledger
- Provision of Financial Reports
- Debtors and Creditors
- Assisting Practice Manager
Essential Criteria:
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- Bookkeeping experience in a law firm
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Remuneration is negotiable and in accordance with experience.
