Wisewould Mahony presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Clerk to join our Property Department based in our Melbourne office.

We are a progressive, full service law firm offering a collegiate environment and a team that is passionate, hard working and supportive.

This position involves providing legal support to a Partner and a Consultant, whilst also carrying out the following duties:

• Preparing Section 32s and Contracts of Sale;
• Conducting relevant searches and obtaining certificates;
• Arranging and attending settlements;
• Performing settlements using PEXA;
• Arranging and lodging settlement documentation; and
• Liaising with clients, banks and when required the Titles office and State Revenue Office.

To be considered for this position, you will be required to demonstrate:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• The ability to manage multiple tasks, work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Experience as a conveyancing clerk from a law firm or conveyancing practice;
• Knowledge of residential, commercial and development transactions; and
• Knowledge of State Revenue Office, Land Titles Office, Duties Online and PEXA.
