About the business
We are a suburban boutique conveyancing firm based in the heart of Essendon specialising in residential and commercial property transactions.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operations of the firm. The position is temporary for a period of 2-3 months with the potential of a permanent role for the right candidate.
Your role will include the following tasks & responsibilities;
- Preparing section 32 statements
- Settlement of Sale and Purchase transactions
- Plan of subdivisions and transfer of ownership
- Liaising and meeting new and existing clients on file related matters
- Provide and discuss quotations for prospective clients
- Review Section 32 statements and provide advice to prospective clients

Skills and experience
- A minimum 3 years experience handling your own files from end to end
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience using Smokeball preferred
- Experience in PEXA transactions from end to end
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work in a team environment and be supportive to other colleagues
- Great communication, problem solving and organisational skills
