Description
Our client is currently seeking an ambitious Tax Lawyer with 2-5 years’ PAE to join a specialist Tax team in the Sydney office reporting directly with the Partner. You will be exposed to a variety of matters in the area of tax, superannuation, trust and/or estate planning.
This position will be responsible for:-
- Providing technical tax advice and completing tax documentation.
- Ad-hoc research tasks on tax, superannuation & estate planning laws.
- Creating precedents.
- Working closely with the Partner - drafting advices & providing specialist opinion on technical issues.
Profile
To be successful in this role you will:-
- Be commercially astute with strong technical ability.
- Have solid exposure to either superannuation, trusts or estate planning coming from either private practice or a professional services firm.
- Strong research, drafting & analytical skills.
- Effective communicator with an ability to build rapport with clients.
