Our client has an excellent reputation among local, national and global clients in the field of IP protection and commercialisation.  Their team of Patent Attorneys, Trade Mark Attorneys and IP lawyers offer clients a bespoke service that shows a genuine interest in their business and an in depth understanding of their sector.

As a result of growth, the firm has an opening for an associate level Patent Attorney to join this highly regarded IP team.  Current work focuses on ICT, computer science (software), and telecommunications. 

This role will give you an opportunity to be exposed to a variety of patent work including the ability to run or be involved in oppositions and litigation proceedings and advise in many areas of patent law including patentability and freedom to operate. You will also have the opportunity to take responsibility of patent portfolios for a large multinational client for Australian, New Zealand and South East Asian regions, and global patent portfolios for local clients. 

The successful candidates will be engaging with various stakeholders at different levels of technical knowledge therefore those who have a strong academic record in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or related field of study are strongly encouraged to apply.
