With a national team, the firm’s insurance & health team is well-known throughout the insurance claims industry for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional service, headed up by well-respected principals.

Currently, they are seeking for an enthusiastic and experienced Insurance PA to join their Sydney office. You will be working as part of a highly effective and collegiate team and you will be having the opportunity to work closely with an experienced partner and alongside a team of talented lawyers.

The Position

This role represents an exciting opportunity for someone to be involved at an early stage of the office's development and to therefore be part of the growth and evolution of the practice.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Dictaphone typing and amendments
  • File management - opening/closing files and filing
  • Drafting basic letters
  • Client liaison
  • Brief preparation
  • Monthly billing and reporting
  • General secretarial support

Skills and Experience

  • Proficient with the use of Dictaphone
  • A strong administrative background with excellent typing and document drafting skills
  • A pro-active ability to maintain high quality work with exceptional attention to detail
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently and organise workload to meet tight deadlines
  • Motivation and communication confidence
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
