Our client is a medium sized firm based in Melbourne CBD assisting clients in a range of areas of law with expert advice and strategic outcomes. With over 80 employees, they provide excellent benefits to their staff in their supportive working environment.
The role
This role supports the busy practice groups across the firm including property, litigation, estates and family law. As the ‘floater’ you will be responsible for covering sick and annual leave plus overflow work for the group.
As such your duties will include;
- Word processing
- File management
- Managing and updating the database
- Actioning and monitoring deadlines
- Monthly billings and reporting
- Internet and database searching
- Drafting patent documentation
- General admin/PA support
You
We are seeking an experienced legal secretary for this role with varied experience. You will be highly organised, pro-active and efficient with great technical skills and a real passion for the intellectual property space.
