Our client is an ASX listed corporation with a diversified portfolio. Due to increased demand on their services they are looking to bring on a Senior Legal Counsel for a 3 month contract to assist the highly regarded legal team.
Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of complex commercial agreements
- Advising internal stakeholders on investment management agreements, trust deeds and joint venture investments
- Preparing product disclosure statements, board reports and other related documents
- Advising internal stakeholder regarding legislative changes and requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Significant experience in financial services or funds management in a reputable law firm or relevant in house industry
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with key stakeholders
- An ability to work in a fast paced environment
