Based in Melbourne, we service a wide range of local and international clients in industries as diverse as logistics, technology, mining, telecommunications, agriculture, hospitality and sports. The firm is a full service firm, with offerings in Property Law, Employment and Industrial Relations, Commercial, Litigation and Family Law.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a lawyer with a minimum of 3 – 4 years PAE to join our expanding and busy Commercial practice. We are looking for a motivated and team orientated lawyer, who has a passion for commercial law and enjoys working in a collaborative, vibrant, supportive and hard working team. You will be exposed to an interesting mix of commercial and corporate matters, as well as advisory work.
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be an admitted lawyer;
- Have a strong understanding of corporations law;
- Have a strong skill set in contract law and Merger and acquisition transactions;
- Be committed to providing clients with commercially sound advice of the highest standard;
- Have excellent research, drafting and communication skills and a solid academic record;
- Ability to think and have a strong work ethic;
- Have a genuine interest in commercial law;
