The University of Wollongong’s Innovation Campus (iC) is an award-winning master-planned campus community built for innovation, enterprise and business growth. The Commercial Developments Unit is responsible for all commercial, property and capital development activities on campus; from operations, business development, commercial transactions to project execution and relationship management.
The Commercial Transactions Manager manages all current and future property related transactions, agreements/contracts and key relationships; currently, the negotiation of the $220M Health & Wellbeing precinct. Highly visible and engaged, you will liaise with the development partner and SME experts within the University and externally across legal, accounting, financing, valuations, marketing, assets and project delivery.
As an interim, you will need to adapt quickly, and apply your commercial acumen, intellect and eagle-eye to feasibility work and financial analysis, in order to understand and provide prudent commentary on contract negotiations. You will work in close quarters with the Director and other Senior Executives to manage project issues, risks and governance requirements.
This assignment will suit a person with a sound commercial pedigree (CA/CPA, Law or Business) and expertise in quantitative analysis, financial assessment, modelling, contract and project management.
