This role would see the successful candidate addressing a broad mix of legal matters that arise within project development, site-identification, construction, and project finance, the operational side of the energy farms, mergers and acquisitions (buy and sell) and internal business operations.

You will be involved in the reviewing, drafting and negotiation of a wide mix of power purchase agreements, EPC and O&M agreements and manage the legal team as well as liaising with outside counsel across projects. You will be a highly experienced lawyer with around 8-15 years PQE across energy projects, and someone who is either stepping up into a head of legal position, or perhaps looking to make a move from a similar team lead role. You will ideally have gained initial experience working in a highly reputable law firm before gaining sophisticated in-house experience in a senior legal role. Your background will have seen you focusing on energy projects and/or front-end construction/engineering projects. Project finance experience will be an additional benefit to the applicant. Candidates coming from a similar renewable energy background will be highly sought after for this role.

What you'll get in return

If you are successful in applying for this role, you will enjoy becoming the General Counsel (APAC) of a hugely successful and exciting team within a globally recognised company.
