Our client, a well recognised State Government Department are seeking the services of a skilled Legal Assistant to start ASAP for an initial 3 months contract.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Formatting, editing and producing documents utilising the MS Office Suite
- General administrational tasks including filling, printing, photocopying, scanning
- Diary management for Solicitors including creating appropriate appointments
- Secretariat duties including setting up meetings and follow up
- Transcribing and data entry
- Managing correspondence accordingly; either in writing or verbally.
To be successful, your proven back ground working in a legal field will supply:
- Well developed time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Awareness of priorities, with the ability to multi task and show initiative
- Ability to work autonomously as well as apart of a team
- A pride in presentation, ensuring all outputs are of best quality with the highest of attention to detail
