A great opportunity has arisen for a hands-on senior-level Legal Executive Assistant to provide support to an established professional and a growing team.

Our client is a leading law firm who has a formidable reputation within its areas of expertise in Personal Injury with over 30 years’ experience in insurance, accident and negligence compensation claims. They are recognised throughout the industry for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional service. They are currently seeking a Personal Injury Legal Executive Assistant to join their Parramatta office.
Description
The key responsibilities within this role include:
Provide support for the lawyers and consultants in preparing, revising and finalizing legal documents
- accurately review, proofread and assist with any materials, including documents, reports, memos, briefings, presentations, forms and other items ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Take ownership for the success of the firm-wide administrative functions by effectively communicating with and providing back up support to all administrative staff, as needed
- Manage communications and correspondence (phone, voice-mail, email) responding when needed; bringing action items forward to appropriate individual’s attention
- Conduct Dictaphone typing and amendments
- Monthly billing and reporting
Profile
The successful candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years prior experience as a legal assistant gained ideally within a Personal Injury focused practice
- Experience in Personal Injury will be highly regarded
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously and draft basic correspondence and documents
- Proven ability to establish professional working relationships with colleagues and external clients
- Previous experience in monthly billing using relevant financial software
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, especially Excel
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities while respecting tight deadlines
