Due to growth in the team, we currently have an opportunity in our Melbourne office for a dynamic legal secretary to join our national Government practice.
This role involves handling large volumes of files in an extremely fast paced environment, and would suit someone with experience in a high volume litigation practice. At least two years of litigation experience is essential, with exposure to Federal Circuit and High Court documents desirable. Day to day tasks include file management, court diary management, hearing preparation, billing and utilising the client portal. Being highly organised with excellent attention to detail is required, as well as the ability to manage conflicting priorities and act as a mentor to junior team members.
You will need to enjoy working in a fast paced environment where everyone works together. We have a non-hierarchal, down to earth culture where team work and a positive attitude are essential.
