What's involved?

Our Practice Manager is a critical team member in ensuring service quality to both internal and external clients. This is an all-round business support and operations management role for someone with experience across all business functions. You will oversee all Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Marketing with the support of the Directors and the wider Business Support Team.

A day in your new life will see you: 

  • Overseeing daily operations of the business including office arrangements and managing the Business Support Team to provide excellent service to all clients
  • Assisting with the Financial Management of the firm, including overseeing cash flow management, trust accounting, managing the firm's operating budget and assisting our external accountant with month end reporting
  • Organising and managing the firm's internal programs and initiatives including the Continuing Professional Development Program and Customer Service Standards
  • Managing HR including recruitment, inductions, training and reviews
  • Managing facilities including liaising with our IT provider to ensure continuity of service
  • Managing and delivering marketing activities including events, social media and print/digital advertising
  • Working closely with and reporting to the Managing Director and the Board towards the happiness of our team, the satisfaction of our clients and growth of the firm

Skills and experience

What have you got?

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with clients and all employee levels
  • Self-motivation, drive and autonomy
  • Prior experience managing a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Sound knowledge of financial management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Sharepoint
