Our Client
Our client is a top-tier law firm with a difference. It takes a fresh, pragmatic, commercial approach to legal practice that focuses on getting the best results for its diverse and blue-chip client base across Australia.
The Role
The firm is seeking to recruit two outstanding planning and environmental lawyers with 3 to 5 years PQE and between 6 to 10+ years' PQE to join their Melbourne Environment and Planning Group.
The successful applicants will join a team led by two partners in Melbourne and act across Australia on major infrastructure projects, ecologically sustainable development, energy and resources, water, land contamination and planning issues for leading Australian and global corporations and government clients.
Applicants must have had top-level exposure to planning and environment matters with experience in some of the following areas highly regarded:-
- Ecologically sustainable development
- Land contamination
- Climate change and emissions trading
- Renewable energy and sustainability
- Environmental licensing, permits and authorisations
- Heritage, native title and natural resources
- Land valuation and compulsory acquisition
- Planning and Project Controls
- Advocacy
