About the firm
Our client is an established boutique legal practice on the CBD fringe providing services across commercial, corporate, property and wills and estates. This firm provides an easy-going cooperative environment with a focus on delivering quality client service.
Initially supporting the principal with file work there is also the opportunity for the right person to grow their own team and/or move into an equity position. Although this is a small team there will be possibilities for networking, professional development and social interactions.
About the role
This is a senior position in the firm and requires the experience to work independently. Matters will cover a broad range including restructuring, shareholder agreements, business sales and purchases, franchising, complex property transactions, easements, leasing and contract reviews, minor leasing and body corporate disputes.
Flexible hours will be negotiated with the successful applicant who is experienced in managing staff and providing continuity to clients during periods when the principal is away from the office.
About you
Our client requires a senior practitioner who has the confidence and knowledge to run matters independently. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of developing good rapport with clients and staff, the ability to nurture new client relationships and actively contribute to the success of the firm.
You will possess the depth of knowledge required to advise clients in a range of commercial, corporate and property matters, have exceptional drafting skills and a proactive approach to solving problems. Previous supervisory/management experience or the desire to extend your professional skills into this arena is desirable.
