Float Legal Secretary

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Float Legal Secretary to join the Brisbane office of this renowned national law firm, where the environment is positive, collaborative and dynamic.
  
This is a full time position and would suit someone who has Legal Secretarial experience and has ideally undertaken a float role previously, or has experience having worked in a variety of areas of law. 

In this role you will undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Managing phone calls, emails and dealing with client enquiries
• Legal document drafting, amendment, management and dictation
• Proactive diary management and meeting coordination
• Assisting with monthly billing
• Coordination of travel and accommodation arrangements
• File management 
• Secretarial support for general administrative tasks
• Ad-hoc assistance to other legal secretaries in the teams as needed 

About you 

You will possess:

• At least 2 years' experience gained in a law firm with exposure to litigation or float legal secretary experience
• Self-motivation and the ability to multi-task 
• The ability to work autonomously and have a flexible approach
• A keen interest in learning new systems and processes 
• The ability to confidently liaise with internal and external parties, with a client service focus
• Strong attention to detail
