The opportunity
We have a new mid level opportunity in our planning, environment & government practice for a junior to mid level lawyer with over two years’ experience.
This role presents a new opportunity for a lawyer to provide specific strategic advice on land, environment and planning issues to facilitate urban development and advise high profile corporate developer clients.
Our expertise covers both greenfield and infill development, including the residential, retail, commercial and industrial sectors. You will also be exposed to litigated matters, from standard class 1 to complex class 4 and class 5 matters in the Land and Environment Court.
Matters include the rezoning of land, the grant and implementation of development consents, voluntary planning agreements, compensation and valuation, enforcement/remedial action and other public law issues in the context of urban development.
