An experienced and confident Litigation Legal Secretary/PA is needed to join one of the finest law firms around the globe. The role will see the successful candidate joining the Commercial Litigation/Disputes Team supporting a renowned Partner and two Senior Associates. The team dynamic is extremely positive and the Legal Secretaries rely on one another for back-up support, always assisting when time allows. The Lawyers and support staff alike are said to have a strong rapport and there is a genuinely happy and constructive work environment to enjoy.
Solid Commercial Litigation experience from a mid or top tier firm will be highly regarded. You will be expected to understand the work and appreciate the urgency in a busy Litigation Department and therefore be able to work to strict deadlines, handle a busy workload and often deal with conflicting priorities. It is also essential that you have a sharp eye for detail and are able to work with initiative. A 'can-do' attitude and proactive and resourceful nature will be key to thriving in this role.
Your daily responsibilities will include diary management; liaising with clients and other third parties; preparing correspondence, documents and briefs; collating evidence; lodging court documents online; monthly billing and general administrative duties. To be considered for this new and exciting role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Fast, accurate typing speed of at least 65 wpm;
- Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite;
- Solid knowledge of working with styles, track changes and multiple document versions;
- Experience using billing and document management systems; and
- Excellent knowledge and proven experience of the Litigation processes within most or all Court jurisdictions.
